Passionate, Curious, Generous
Professional Life
Leadership, Memorization, Teamwork, communication, and stress management are all skills I’ve gained from my working experience. Working in the fast food industry requires adapting to stressful situations. During these stressful times, you have to take charge and ensure that everyone remains calm. Making sure to support my coworkers wherever they need it. In my current job, I became a coffee master. This didn’t increase my pay; it was a two-month study I genuinely felt passionate about and wanted to expand my knowledge on. I consistently invest my time to learn new skills I enjoy, enlarging my education, not only to become more knowledgeable but also to educate others. I not only memorize a lot of drinks but also the customers. I always tell everyone I meet that my customers are the only reason I stay. The connections I have with them feel so deeply personal, and I’m able to meet new people every day. I love communicating with people and making new friends.
My Photographs
Photography and the outdoors play a major role in my life; I find it so extraordinary and relaxing. Nature is one of the most beautiful things to explore and to capture; I love going on hikes to discover new areas. I enjoy carrying my sketchbook and portable painting supplies to try to capture the beauty of nature in art.
My Education
I currently go to Humber College Lakeshore, I’m studying police foundations in hopes of being able to apply for the RCMP program in the future. I completed my GED at Gary Allen High School. I wasn’t able to do my part at school and receive awards because I dropped out of school really early to help support my family with bills. College has been an amazing learning experience. I’ve been able to get myself out more. And Humber has a ton of volunteering and clubs to join.
